Aloha from Kauai. I've been here since last Friday for a technical communication conference. Fancylady and I have been driving around, baking in the sun, hitting happy hour at the hotel every night (Bud Light all around!), and generally taking it easy after a long, troubled summer.
The nearest I've come to rocking out here has been overhearing one of the local musicians (hired as part of the nightly entertainment) running through "Stairway to Heaven" on the bandstand. I miss my music, but I think taking a breather from it has been good. I'll be rejoining the fray in a few days.
